Having trained at a smaller practice and qualified with ACCA, Cerys moved to Mazars where she worked in the audit department on a varied portfolio, later developing a speciality in the audit of pension schemes.

While at Mazars, she became involved with the Audit Quality Team, helping to develop internal guidance for the Audit Department and working to keep the audit software up to date with the changing standards.

After several years in audit, Cerys decided to make the move into industry but found herself drawn back to the more technical aspects of the profession. Having joined the ICAEW Technical Advisory Service, she now enjoys the variety of technical enquiries presented on a daily basis, advising members on accountancy, audit, and company law..

Cerys will be joined by her colleague Kirsty Jones in providing the answers to questions from auditors that are commonly asked of ICAEW's Technical Advisory Service.
