After qualifying with a top 20 firm, Simone moved to Grant Thornton and worked with a diverse portfolio of manager owned business’ in a varied role covering both audit engagements and management accountancy engagements.
Kirsty subsequently moved to BPP where she taught financial reporting and auditing across a wide range of professional qualifications, as well as designing course programmes and writing training materials.
After spending three years at BPP, Kirsty moved to a top-10 audit firm working in London as their Technical Manager, delivering audit and accounting training for the firm and providing technical support to the audit department.
This set her up well to join the ICAEW Technical Advisory Service in 2017, where she advises fellow members on accounting, audit, company law and ethics matters.
